Services offered

  • Advisory Services: General services offered include work for the client on-site or other venues such as conference calls, conferences, interactions with future customers, and working both technical and business related needs the client deems appropriate to engage the Technoir consultant.
     

  • Duty Station Transit Services: Requirements regarding travel to and from a client appointed location where the service task(s) take place. 
     

  • Project Evaluation and Assessment: Estimation of the time, skills and resources required to complete a technical project.
     

  • Testing and Analysis Services: Recommend what test protocols should be done for product development and quality control either in-house or through an external contract agreement. Results are turned over to client for assessment. 
     

  • Computational Modeling and Simulation: Recommend what simulations and modeling should be done for product design and development prior to prototyping and testing. Results are turned over to client for assessment.
     

  • Document Review and Comment Services: Based on the results, Technoir contractor will analyze the data and make recommendations to the client that include next steps, fabrication processes, and suggest any additional requirements needed to advance a product to market.
     

  • Technical Evaluation and Assessment: Technoir will make recommendations to potential investor clients as to what is required to take a technology to market, the market potential of a technology, and assess the current capability and skillset of a company and personnel to move the technology into the marketplace. 
     

  • Inventory Control: Provide training, product and policy review, and awareness of any potential export control violation and recommend corrective procedures. Help the client draft export license applications and other required correspondence, and provide advisement as to the appropriate jurisdiction (ITAR, USML category, or CCL ECCN) for the items reviewed.
     

  • Expert Witness: Upon the request of the Client, Consultant will apply its subject matter expertise to perform agreed upon required Expert Witness Services related to sworn testimony (in person, via telecom, or affidavit).

Retainer Agreement

The retainer agreement is a low monthly fee that allows a substantial discount for service tasks and after contractor approval of any documents, the use of any selected contractors(s) name as an advisor to the client for proposed funded work and as a member of the clients advisory board​.

  • Structures: Performance-based physical articles created from materials required to satisfy operational requirements. Related topics include aerospace, medical, sports, and manufacturing.
     

  • Medical: Design and production of performance materials, structures, and devices developed to operate in or supporting functions of the human body.
     

  • Prototyping: The process of design refinement from computer-aided design (CAD) to a working facsimile, to a production model.
     

  • Sports: Manufacturing of sports-centric structures developed to support and enhance athletic performance.
     

  • Research: Creating materials, tests, structures, prototypes or hardware required to create a product that meets or exceeds the performance requirements of a project.
     

  • Testing: Generating statistically relevant experimentally determined data (analytical techniques and physical testing) required for quality-controlled production, certification and other performance-based specifications required to produce a marketable product.
     

  • Inventory Control: Meets industry-regulated specific validation, supply chain and customer requirements. This includes Quality Control, Export Control, ISO, Mil-spec, ASTM, ITAR, etc.
     

  • Evaluation: Assessing manufacturing and processes, inventory workflow, technical evaluation related to personnel expertise, infrastructure setup, equipment accessibility, ergonomics and safety, and software associated with research and production. Focus is on refining activities and reducing waste.
